Who this is for
New teammates learning where work lives in the product, and anyone switching workspaces who needs a map from the sidebar labels to the major flows.
When to use this guide
Read once during onboarding, or when you cannot find Compare, PlusVibe, or Intelligence sub-pages.
Before you start
Sign in. After authentication, the default landing route is /dashboard (DEFAULT_AUTH_HOME) when no callbackUrl is passed.
Home versus Dashboard
| Entry | Route | What you see |
|---|---|---|
| Home | / | Marketing LandingPage (public Home in the sidebar). Signed-in users can still open it; it is not the operational overview. |
| Dashboard | /dashboard | Operational overview. A customisable board with a portfolio health verdict, KPI tiles, and widgets you can arrange. See "Customising the dashboard" below. |
Use Dashboard for day-to-day status. Use Home for the public marketing surface.
Customising the dashboard
The dashboard adapts to how you work.
- Presets. Preset tabs re-shape the board for a job: Portfolio, Lead gen, Agency, and Intelligence. Switching preset is instant and clears any personal widget tweaks for that view.
- Period. Toggle the window between 7d, 30d, and 90d.
- Customise (edit mode). Choose Customize to open a draft of the layout. Drag widgets to reorder them and toggle each one on or off, then Save. Reset clears your personal layout back to the preset. Preset switching is disabled while you are editing.
- Team default. Admins can set the workspace default preset, which new members land on until they pick their own.
- Plan-gated widgets. Intelligence widgets (Opportunities, Intelligence snapshot, Topic searches) show an upgrade placeholder on plans without Intelligence.
Your choices are remembered per workspace. The resolution order is your saved layout, then the team default, then the built-in preset.
In the app: sidebar structure
The sidebar mirrors how work is grouped:
- Home, Dashboard, Overview, and Topic Search. Marketing entry, the customisable dashboard, a sites overview, and topic search for open-web source research.
- Audit & Analysis. Audits, Sites, Reports, Compare, Benchmark, Custom Rules.
- Outreach. Leads, Pipeline, Emails, PlusVibe.
- Intelligence. Overview, plus Insights & Signals, Priorities, Brand Profile, Products, Audiences, Proofs, AI Citations, Social & Community, Review Analysis, Competitor Tracking, Competitive Analysis, Opportunities, Brand Claims, Voice of Customer, Question Clusters, Community Questions, Campaigns, Monitoring.
- Integrations. Integrations (Slack, Discord, PlusVibe, automation webhooks) and API Keys (REST keys, a different page).
- Workspace. Billing, Notifications, Organization, Settings, Help Centre.
- Admin (when your role allows). Team, Audit Log.
Use the workspace and tenant selector at the top of the sidebar to switch client or brand context. Data is scoped to the active workspace.
Audits versus Intelligence
Audits and Sites focus on crawl quality: SEO, performance, security, UX. Intelligence focuses on brand visibility, citations, social and reviews, and competitors. Many Intelligence screens ask you to pick a tracked site first.
Common pitfalls
- Wrong workspace. Switch the tenant selector. Audits and sites are per workspace.
- Empty Recent Audits. Run Audits > New Audit or open Sites to confirm tracked domains.
